Keeping Kiwis Moving | Find Your Beat, Move Your Feet
At Kiwi Rehabilitation, we believe movement is for everyone. That’s why we’re excited to bring the Ronnie Gardiner Method (RGM) to our community!
A fun, music-driven exercise program that strengthens both mind and body. Using rhythm, music, and movement, RGM helps improve balance, coordination, memory, and mood—whether you’re living with a neurological condition or simply want to stay sharp and active as you age, RGM is for you.

What is RGM?
The Ronnie Gardiner Method (RGM) was developed by jazz drummer Ronnie Gardiner, an energetic and Charismatic 90-year-old African-American who originally hails from Rhode Is. In the US but who has lived in Sweden since the 1960’s.
Based on the principles of neuroplasticity, motor learning and postural control, RGM is an innovative, multi-sensory exercise method for the brain, in which rhythm, music, verbalization and movement are used to stimulate both cognitive and motor skills.
RGM has been used successfully to help people living with neurological conditions like stroke, Parkinson’s, dementia and MS as well as healthy aging populations. It has also been successfully introduced in schools to help students with learning and concentration.
